Nour Albayan

Nour Albayan is the preparatory book to Quran recitation & Arabic reading. Throughout this curriculum, students will learn to recognize and identify the different forms of Arabic letters, vowels, letter pronunciation, reading, and much more. There are various levels ranging from

Level 1: Focuses on teaching students the full form of each letter, how to pronounce each letter, and where it comes from. There is emphasis on the fatha sound throughout this level, using word examples to achieve this lesson.

Goals for level 1: stunts will know how to pronounce and write each letter correctly by emphasizing each letter through multiple examples. We will use various methods such as, arts, crafts, games, activities, and much more to help our students learn!

Level 2: Focuses on pronouncing syllables and recognizing letters and their sound. We will also be reviewing the fatha sound and the Arabic alphabet, while also learning to read with the kasra and duma sound. Goals for level 2: Combining letters step by step and analyzing and putting together words. Learning how to read fatha, duma, kasra sounds and applying it stories and Quran reading.

Level 3: Focuses on reviewing everything in Level 1 and 2 while also adding Madah of alif, waw, and yaa. Reading Quran with  fatha, duma, kasra through various exercises and activities that will help student fully understand how to read correctly. Goal: Understand the shape of Madah in the Quran and regular reading books, as well as know how to read in both settings.

Level 4: Focuses on reviewing everything in Level 1, 2, and 3 while also teaching suqoon and lam qamareyeh. There will also be emphasis on pronouncing tanween (fatih, dameh, kasir), as well as shadeh. Goal: Read Quran and any book by bringing together all the elements learned throughout levels 1-4.
